Examples / Cloud events: AWS, Google Cloud and Azure / AWS EventBridge API destinations
AWS EventBridge API destinations webhooks
Any EventBridge event (service events, custom events, scheduled rules) delivered straight to your URL, with the auth you configure.
Events
- aws.s3 Object Created
- aws.codepipeline Pipeline Execution State Change
- aws.guardduty GuardDuty Finding
- Scheduled Event
- custom detail-type
Signature
No HMAC. The API destination's connection adds basic auth, an API key header or OAuth client credentials that you configure.
Retries
EventBridge retries up to 24 hours (185 attempts) with backoff, then sends to the rule's dead-letter queue if one is set.
See a retry schedule in the calculator.
