AWS SNS (HTTPS subscriptions) webhooks

Any AWS event you route through SNS: S3 uploads, CloudWatch alarms, SES bounces, Lambda results.

Signature

The body carries Signature, SigningCertURL and SignatureVersion. Fetch the certificate from an amazonaws.com host and verify the SHA1withRSA or SHA256withRSA signature over the canonical string.

✓ A bin checks AWS SNS (HTTPS subscriptions) signatures: add the topic ARN to accept, or * for any topic under Signature verification (AWS SNS).

Retries

SNS retries HTTPS deliveries with a configurable policy: by default 3 attempts with 20-second gaps, up to 100 attempts over an hour with a custom policy.

Answer a SubscriptionConfirmation by fetching its SubscribeURL once.
The Content-Type is text/plain even though the body is JSON.

Receive AWS SNS (HTTPS subscriptions) webhooks with webhooks.xyz

Create a bin. Paste its URL into AWS SNS (HTTPS subscriptions). Each request shows at once with its headers and body. Add your server as a destination, and deliveries retry when it is down. Request an invite.
